Event Description

Scotland House Brussels and the Economic Development Association Scotland (EDAS) are delighted to invite you to our upcoming European Week of Regions and Cities event: Implementing the Wellbeing Economy: the Scottish and EU perspectives.

The event will take place on October 14, from 09:30-10:45 GMT (10:30-11:45 CET), via the Webex platform.

The COVID-19 pandemic and recovery period will see an even greater need for governments to focus on the wellbeing of the population when delivering economic prosperity. The Wellbeing Economy has become a greater focus in Scottish economic development and is now moving up the European agenda.

Join experts Sandrine Dixson-Declève, Wellbeing Economy Alliance Ambassador and Co-President of the Club of Rome, Dr Robert Pollock, Director, EDAS and Managing Director and Consultant of Regional Development Solutions and Wellbeing Economy Alliance Spokesperson, Mark Langdon, as they discuss Scotland’s journey to a Wellbeing Economy and how the agenda is developing from an EU perspective.
